I only cut one celebrity’s hair, who was a movie star, and his name was Ben Gazzara. I liked the people I met and so forth I liked what I was doing. My first shop was when I was 19 years old I opened up my own shop. He says yes, and I took it up so I could help my family and naturally it could be a job for myself. I went to one of the barbershops here and I asked him if he would teach me the barber business. I am the oldest working barber in the world, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.
